Review: Blue Shoes Volume 1

Blue Shoes Volume 1 by JJ Knight

Description:
Jess Rivera is a young music executive engaged to Morris Music's hottest rock star: Dylan Wolf.

She wears a gorgeous diamond ring on her finger, and everyone wants to know when they're getting married.

Between Dylan's screaming fans who chase him everywhere, plus their glamorous L.A. lifestyle, the couple can hardly get a moment alone together.

That's why they're planning a secret wedding.

But when a visit to a bridal gown boutique goes terribly wrong, all their romantic plans are ruined.

Sometimes it feels like the whole world is against the couple's love. Is it just bad luck, or is someone trying to destroy Dylan Wolf?

My Thoughts:

I was given the opportunity to read an ARC of this book from the author. To understand what is happening you need to have read her series Revenge because the two main characters Dylan and Jess are the same main characters in that series.

The story picks up with the two in LA again but this time they are so in love and attempting to plan their wedding! However, life with a rock star doesn't prove to be easy. I hate to say it, but Jess kinda got on my nerves! She just seemed a bit whiny about things. I get that its frustrating and the press would make me crazy, but seriously not telling the love of your life how you are feeling because you are afraid it will break you two up....well that is a HUGE red flag in any relationship in my book!

So the couple are super hot when they are together, but there are all sorts of issues that pop up during this portion of the story. I am pretty sure someone is trying to break them up, but I don't know for sure because right when things get good it ends! I hope to read part 2 soon to keep the story fresh and be able to give a good continueing review.

At this time all I can say is if you have read Revenge then check this out because it is always nice to see characters return, however if you haven't then wait a few weeks to see what I think of the entire part! I enjoyed Revenge (don't think I wrote a review), but am torn about how I feel about this series.
